"I first met Amy when I was looking at houses for sale on the Internet. The first house that really caught my attention was a home on Goldfinch Rd in Durham that Amy and her business partner Paul had recently refurbished. The home was beautiful; the work on the home was professional, up-to-date with the latest trends, and unique.
At the time I was not even sure I could even qualify to buy a home, so when I talked with Amy she suggested talking to Joanne who is a mortgage broker that she works with. When we went into each house, Amy was very knowledgeable and always had a vision for each home we went in to. She would point out the positive things about each one, the things that I would not have picked up on. She also pointed out things that I would need to consider if I bought each home. I was quite impressed with her ability to walk into a home and size it up with pros, cons and things that could improve each one. At that point I started to work more with Joanne. During this process Joanne was very supportive and never faltered in her goal of getting my loan approved. I think she was on a mission, especially since I am a Disabled Veteran! However, I believe she is on a mission with every mortgage that she works on. I ran into a couple of hurdles, but we managed to work together closely and the mortgage was approved. Joanne and Amy were both readily available and I am not sure that if I had chosen another team, if things would have ever worked out. I am so grateful to both of them for all they did to help me realize my dream of owning my own home." ~ Carolyn, East Hampton, CT
